Your order contributes directly to the planting of mangrove trees along the coastlines of Kenya, some of the most powerful ecosystems on Earth.

For every product purchased, we remove one plastic bottle from coastal regions and ocean-bound waterways within 50 km of the sea. This initiative helps prevent plastic from entering our oceans while supporting local communities. The collected plastic is exchanged for income and essential resources, fostering both environmental and social change.

We proudly partner with EarthLungs Reforestation Foundation and Veritree for our planting initiatives, and with Plastic Bank to combat ocean plastic.

Our commitment extends beyond partnerships. Within Lux Umbra, we have pledged to eliminate single-use plastics entirely—an effort recognised by Surfers Against Sewage with the Plastic Free Champion award.

Our candles are crafted from a refined blend of soy and coconut wax, 100% plant-based, renewable, and clean-burning. Unlike paraffin wax, which is derived from petroleum, our formulation is biodegradable, non-toxic, and designed to preserve the purity of your indoor environment.
